Shipwrecks Off the East Coast<\/b><\/p>\n

Some ships, it seems, are ill-fated. Misfortune and disaster follow these unfortunate vessels wherever they go. The stories of nine such ships are told in this exciting collection of shipwreck tales, which feature hope and despair, triumph and catastrophe.<\/p>\n

This book was first published in 2005 and again in 2009.\u00a0 It is currently available as an ebook for the Kindle and Kobo ebook readers.\u00a0 I hope to see in back in print in 2014.\u00a0 You can purchase it through Amazon.ca<\/a>; Amazon.com<\/a>; and Indigo<\/a> – you will notice that some of the pricing is outrageous – this is because it is currently ‘out of print’ – the ebook version is very reasonable.\u00a0 You will also notice a blue cover – that is the latest printing done in 2009 – the inside of the book is the same, just the cover changed.<\/p>\n

Scenic St. Martins: Jewel of the Bay of Fundy<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love photography and I love the province where I live \u2013 New Brunswick.\u00a0 I also love to share photography on this beautiful place.\u00a0 So, it was only natural that my friend Ethel King, also an avid photographer and writer, and I combine our photography and writing efforts and create a book showcasing one of our favourite places, St. Martins, New Brunswick.<\/p>\n

This book has many photos of the Village of St. Martins and the surrounding area.\u00a0 It also includes information on the history\u00a0 of the region and a couple of short stories regarding local shipwrecks.<\/p>\n

A Pictorial Walk Through Historic Saint John – Canada\u2019s Oldest City<\/b><\/p>\n

I grew up and live not far from Saint John, New Brunswick which has the distinction of being Canada\u2019s oldest incorporated city.\u00a0 So, when looking for the topic for the next book in our series on \u2018Cities, Towns and Villages of New Brunswick\u2019, co-author Ethel King and I didn\u2019t have to look too far.<\/p>\n

The photography in \u2018A Pictorial Walk Through Historic Saint John- Canada\u2019s Oldest City\u2019 showcases the unique architecture and landscape of the city.\u00a0 The book also contains historical information and anecdotal stories to entertain the reader.\u00a0 The book has information on the rebuilding of Saint John after the great fire of 1877; the Loyalist Burial Grounds; the fastest ship in the world the “Marco Polo”; and Charles Gorman – the man with the million-dollar legs.<\/p>\n
